Duck Sweater
The Duck Sweater is in collaboration with my dear friend & artist, Emily Miller.
Emily originally painted the duck on cut wood. We then decided, they must be knit 𓅭 𓅰 𓅭 𓅰
This sweater features a colorful mallard on the front of a knit raglan sweater. The neckband has a hidden pop of color on its interior (perfect blue), as well as a pop of color on the trim of the sleeves (olive).
Knit by me, Kelsey, in my Nashville studio on a hand-powered vintage machine using a laborious picture-knitting technique called Intarsia.
Each piece is made of 100% merino wool sourced from Ireland.
There is little-to-no waste created in the production process, as each garment is fully fashioned and linked by hand.
The classic raglan shaping comes in two fits, REGULAR and CROPPED. Measurements are noted below.
Melissa is 5’ 3” and wearing a size SMALL cropped fit
Ann Elizabeth Mekala is 5’5” and wearing a size SMALL cropped fit
Heather is 5’8” and wearing a SMALL cropped fit
Harry is 5’ 7” and wearing a size MEDIUM regular fit
Malcolm is 6”1’ and wearing a size MEDIUM regular fit

Materials:
100% merino wool
Care:
Air out after frequent wear. Wool is naturally antibacterial and does not need to be washed often. Store folded rather than hanging to prevent deformation.
Before storing for warmer seasons (or as needed), hand wash in room temperature or lukewarm water using natural detergent or eco dish soap.
Gently press out excess water by rolling up in a towel and pressing. Do not wring. Lay flat to dry.
