2025 WRAP

I knit a loooot of pieces this year. I packed orders to cities and countries all over, and I frequently wondered how the heck they (you?) found my work.

I’m really proud of this one-woman business & the things I had the pleasure of doing and making this year. Thank you for your support and for being here :~)

Next year I hope to write more than one newsletter.. But for 2025, you’re getting the cliff notes of the year in one go.
In no particular order—

I saw a piece of my work in a gallery for the first time (Julia Martin Gallery in Nashville, TN) for a brilliant group show curated by Jamie Bradley. Oops to not having a photo of it in the gallery.

Hayley Williams (of Paramore) wore the Goldfinch Sweater while performing on Jimmy Fallon — not just a performance, but a really important message.

My dear friend Kathryn Davey visited from Dublin for the first time since I moved to Nashville. I think she may never visit again because of how hot it was that week— but we still had the best time & managed to squeeze in a little collab of dying bandanas with indigo (Kathryn teaches various classes about natural dying, like making paints from plants :0 she’s brilliant)

I was invited to speak to the Machine Knitting class at Belmont Uni's fashion school.
&
I participated in the fashion week exhibition at Lipscomb University, showcasing my process alongside several brilliant local designers.

I didn't study fashion (or anything remotely close to what i'm doing now), so it was fun for me to see my work through student eyes.

Seeing my sweater on Hayley Williams on a billboard in Times Square! What! A photo from the same shoot was also the cover for Spotify’s “Alt Now” Playlist. Her new album was a favorite this year.

I visited the mill where I get all my wool from, while visiting our family, friends, and our old home in Ireland <3

I made a couple more framed pieces (one still waiting to be framed). Testing limits in size & design, and realizing this is something I love doing a lot a lot.

First stockist in Ireland, Clan, in a small town that is special to me. Stockists also in South Korea, Brooklyn, and Nashville (bandanas only).

Pop-ups in Chicago, Nashville, and Asheville. I've met some of my favorite people through these events :')

Spending every day in this beautiful & bright space I get to have as my studio. I love it in here, and I love knitting things for you. Thank you deeply for all your support. To lots more knitting in 2026!

Xx,
Kelsey
